Pagan on 155th Celebration of Juneteenth

Friday, June 19, 2020

“Juneteenth is not only a celebration of the last remaining enslaved people in the United States learning of their emancipation, but is also about honoring those who have fought and continue to fight for freedom and equality, and take up the mantle against the systems of oppression embedded in the fabric of our nation. While we highlight this truly foundational and historic moment for our African American friends and neighbors, we must also actively work toward justice.”
